Welcome to my website! In my research, I study the behavioral factors that influence individuals’ behavior in organizations and in society in general. I mainly conduct theory-informed, controlled experiments. To test the external validity of the found results, I link experimental data to participants’ behavior outside the laboratory whenever applicable. Some of my more recent projects also rely exclusively on field data, such as TV show data or academic outcome data.
My main research areas:
- Organizational economics
- Overconfidence and response to feedback
- Social norms and the law
- Political economy
- Behavioral and experimental economics
